Strategic Services
Administering physician compensation is a full-time job. Ludi’s experts can make it easier.
The Physician Compensation Team behind Yours
Most compensation engagements run on handoffs. A consultant recommends, an implementation team translates, and your staff inherits whatever falls between.
Ludi’s Strategic Services was built to support the gaps. The team has led physician compensation at leading health systems and medical groups and is available end-to-end, at whatever depth you need.

Strategic Services FAQs
Answers to common questions about Ludi’s Strategic Services offerings.
Strategic Services is a good fit for a wide range of health systems and medical groups. Organizations that tend to benefit most are those navigating staffing transitions, operating in labor markets where compensation talent is hard to find, growing faster than their internal team can support, or looking for outside validation of their existing processes. It also works well for organizations that need FTE-level support without the long-term hiring commitment.
These are the engagements that come up most often. If one of them describes your quarter, the conversation is worth having.
- A CMS rule change resets the values every wRVU threshold plan was built on. Every plan has to be re-modeled, re-documented, and re-explained to the physicians it affects.
- The person who built your compensation models is leaving. The logic lives in their head and their spreadsheets, and the next cycle does not wait for a replacement to get up to speed.
- An audit, a board review, or a new CFO wants a third party to validate the processes you already run. Outside validation carries weight that an internal memo does not.
- An acquisition leaves you with two plan structures, two data sources, and one payroll deadline. Standardizing them is a project. Running payroll on Friday is not optional.
- You are implementing the Ludi Platform and would rather Ludi configure and run it than staff it internally. Same team either way.
- A vacancy, a leave, or a backlog means you need FTE-level capacity for two quarters, not a permanent hire. The commitment ends when the need does.
The Ludi Platform is our software. It manages the tracking, administration, and payment of provider compensation. Strategic Services is our managed services offering, where Ludi’s subject matter experts support the work that your comp team is already doing. Some clients use the Platform only, some use Strategic Services only, and many use both together. If you’re not sure which fits your situation, we can help you figure that out.
No. Strategic Services is available to any health system or medical group, regardless of whether they currently use the Ludi Platform. If it makes sense to implement the Platform as part of the engagement, our team can handle that too.
We adapt to what your situation calls for. Some clients bring us in to fill a specific gap, like coverage during a staffing transition or extra capacity for a backlog. Others need help with ongoing reporting or processing. Either way, we work closely with your team from the start to understand your program, processes, and priorities, and we set clear expectations before any work begins.
